A heritage since 1980
First of all, there’s a family history. I’m the daughter of an entrepreneur, Marie Van Calck, who in 1980 opened two Belgian chocolate shops in the centre of Brussels and passed on her passion for chocolate to me.
And today
I embarked on my entrepreneurial adventure at the age of 31. After graduating from a Brussels business school, ICHEC, and from the Institut Européen des Hautes Études Internationales in France, and after some great work experience with the UGC cinema group, I took the plunge and took over my family’s two chocolate shops, which in just a few years became six boutiques, all located in my home town, Brussels.
With Lindt
The adventure with Lindt began in 2007 when my friend Javier, who lived in New York, told me about the magic of the Lindt boutiques and the quality of the Lindor chocolates and balls. I immediately contacted Lindt in Switzerland and fell in love. A few months later, on the eve of Easter, I opened the first Lindt boutique in Brussels, in City 2. The famous Golden Rabbit had finally arrived in Belgium. The second shop opened in 2019 in the European Quarter.
During the Covid years, with the support of my fantastic teams, I launched online sales and home delivery. With great success!
Today, swisschocolates.be is your delivery platform for Lindt chocolates in Belgium, delivered directly from the Lindt boutiques in Brussels, with a local team and a local, personalised service.
